Walter Cullop

It was raining today as we said “Goodbye for now.” to Walter C. Cullop, 88, who passed away Aug. 8, 2016 at Altercare of Wadsworth.  His celebration service was filled with stories and memories.  Walter brought many people joy and fulfillment by going hunting, boating, and being cheerful and compassionate with them.

Walter was born in Helen, WV to the late Edward and Mary (Pennington) Cullop.

 He retired from Roadway Express after 25 years of service. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Seville, Wayfarer Masonic Lodge, Akron and was a US Army veteran.

He is urvived by his wife Laura; daughter Pat (Mark) Saiben, Barberton; son Greg (Sandra) Cullop, Kent; Melanie (Lee) Edmonds, Wadsworth; Cheryl Cole, Wadsworth, Scott Stuber, Wadsworth; 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

 He is preceded in death by Ardella Perking, Charles and Orrville Cullop, mother Mary Blevins and step-father Grant Blevins.20160815_141020
