But what happens when we live God’s way? He brings gifts into our lives, much the same way that fruit appears in an orchard—things like affection for others, exuberance about life, serenity. We develop a willingness to stick with things, a sense of compassion in the heart, and a conviction that a basic holiness permeates things and people. We find ourselves involved in loyal commitments, not needing to force our way in life, able to marshal and direct our energies wisely. Legalism is helpless in bringing this about; it only gets in the way. Among those who belong to Christ, everything connected with getting our own way and mindlessly responding to what everyone else calls necessities is killed off for good—crucified.
Galatians 5 MSG
Do you see this kind of love in your life?
Is this coming through you to others?
The fruit is evidence or proof of the Holy Spirit living in someone.
We want to be loved this way…we need to also give this kind of love to others.
What does it mean to have joy in your life?
Joy we accociate with happiness; however, this is the joy we hear about in scripture..a thankfulness for God’s grace.
The proof and evidences of the Holy Spirit are the moments where we realize our blessings.
There is a war and fight. The enemy is ramping it up…so Shalom.
Wholeness, health, balance, reconciliation are aspects of PEACE.
Is it possible to be at peace with a circumstance without being in agreement.
Jesus reconciled us to God…God has a filter on His sight upon us. He sees through Jesus. We simply lack balance. It only arrives because of the Holy Spirit’s peace.
Let us live out this Fruit of the Spirit. Let others see the evidence. The proof of God’s Spirit.
