Good morning, Church. Today is Holy Saturday. It is a time for personal reflection upon the powerful reality of Jesus’ death. In addition, it is important that we keep this day holy, and let our “sense” of the mystery of death shape our reflection and our longing to celebrate the Easter gift of Jesus alive–for us and with us. Today’s Holy Saturday Scripture readings are: Psalm 27, 88; Lamentations 3:37-58; Hebrews 4:1-16; Romans 8:1-11 (There is no Gospel reading on Holy Saturday). There is no Holy Saturday prayer. Since this is a day of reflection, less of me and more of you is better. All I can say is, Thanks for journeying; God loves you deeply; Blessings to all–PT.
