Good morning, Church. Yesterday morning, I had the privilege of being with two of our church families whose loved ones had eye surgery. As we spent a few minutes talking to the Lord right before the surgeries, I was reminded of the powerful and calming presence of prayer. So, let’s once again start with today’s Lenten prayer; and then consider today’s Scripture readings: “Loving Creator, I know in Your great love for me You see the deep sorrow in my heart. Hear my prayers which are offered with such trust in You. Be with me in both mind and heart as I renew my life in Your spirit. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.” Psalm 128, 129; Exodus 7:8-24; II Corinthians 2:14–3:6; Mark 10:1-16. I also pray that you will join the FBC family this evening for mid-week Prayer Meeting. I look forward to being with you. Thanks for journeying; Blessings to all–PT.
