Good morning, Church ! OK, I know I prayed yesterday morning for a “life-changing” worship experience; but I wasn’t prepared for the dynamic and breathtaking service that the Lord graced the FBC family with. Was that a lack of faith on my part? Maybe, but I choose to believe that the Lord just wanted to take our breath away with His abundant mercy and grace!! On top of that, we also experienced sweet fellowship at the Payne Family Open House afterward. WOW, what a Lord’s Day. Thank You, Father. Today, though, is a new day with new mercies; so, let’s get it started with today’s Lenten Scripture readings and prayer: Psalm 31, 35; Exodus 4:10-31; I Corinthians 14:1-19; Mark 9:30-41. “God of love, I know that You are the Source of all that is good and graced in my life. Help me to move from the life of sin to which I so often cling into the new life of grace You offer me. You know what I need to prepare for Your kingdom. Bless me with those gifts. In Jesus’ good name I pray. Amen.” Enjoy the start of a new week filled with new and exciting spiritual adventures!! Thanks for journeying; Blessings to all–PT.
