Lent, Day 18: Saturday, February 27, 2016

Good morning, Church. Well, Sharon and I are celebrating our 45th Wedding Anniversary today. What an amazing marital journey we have shared together; and, we both confess that we are starting our 46th year together only because of God’s forgiveness and grace. The Lord faithfully pursued us and prepared us for marital oneness even when we did not know what our individual futures held. What an incredible, magnificent Savior! Do you sense God’s faithful pursuit of your life? Do you believe that He wants to solidify the spiritual oneness that is His will for your salvation? This Lenten season is a wonderful season to concentrate upon these truths. So, let’s consider and meditate upon today’s Scripture readings and Lenten prayer. Psalm 75, 76; Genesis 43:16-34; I Corinthians 7:10-24; Mark 5:1-20. “God of infinite love, You shower me with limitless gifts in my life. In my every thought and action today, guide me to the bright and loving light of Your kingdom. Help me to be aware of the many ways you allow me to share in Your life so intimately today. Thank You for the gifts You have placed in my life. Let me be grateful every moment of this day. In Jesus’ radiant name I pray. Amen.” Your spiritual salvation is a personal relationship with the Lord of Glory that is saturated with intimate sharing. Open yourself (vulnerability); receive Him and accept His gifts (humility); then give Him honor and glory and praise (worship). Thanks for journeying; Blessings to all–PT.
