Good morning, Church! Hopefully, we’ve experienced the last of the “single digit” temperatures for the winter. I know; it’s probably wishful thinking, but I’ve been doing a lot of that lately. Anyway, I hope that you are staying warm and looking forward to this “springlike” weekend. Until then, let us receive spiritual support from our Lenten Bible readings and prayer. Today’s Scripture readings are: Psalm 50, 59, 60; Genesis 39:1-23; I Corinthians 2:14–3:14; Mark 2:1-12. Our Lenten prayer is: “Lord, I’m not always eager to do Your will. I’d often much rather do my own will. Please be with me on this Lenten journey and help me to remember that Your own spirit can guide me in the right direction. I want to ‘fix’ my weaknesses and the task seems overwhelming; but I know that with Your help, anything can be done. With a grateful heart, I acknowledge Your love and know that without You, I can do nothing. In Jesus’ sovereign name, I pray. Amen.” Be strong in the faith. Thanks for journeying; Blessings to all–PT.
