Good morning, Church! We continue to experience some “firsts” this winter in NorthEast Ohio (at least in Medina County). We awoke this morning to the first “wet and heavy” snowfall. This type of snow is known as the “widow maker;” so BE CAREFUL; DON’T SHOVEL (unless you are as fit as an Olympic athlete)! As you sit back and reflect on this morning’s beautiful danger, let’s celebrate this day that the Lord has made with our Lenten Scripture readings and Prayer. The readings for today are: Psalm 47, 48; Genesis 37:12-24; I Corinthians 1:20-31; Mark 1:14-28. Our Lenten prayer is: “Father of my soul and of my heart. I know Your love for me is limitless beyond imagining. You care for me as a loving parent. Through my smallest Lenten sacrifices, help me to become less selfish and more aware of Your ways. Fan the flame of my desire to draw ever closer to You. Guide me to seek Your love. In Jesus’ limitless name, we pray. Amen.” Again, be careful. Thanks for journeying; Blessings to all–PT.
